1. Assist with the preparation of the annual Food & Beverage Business Plan ensuring Divisional Objectives fully address business objectives of the hotel and needs of colleagues.

2. Assist in managing the Banquets department as independent profit center.

3. Assist with the preparation and regular update of the Banquets Departmental Budget, in close cooperation with the Food & Beverage Operation Manager ensuring targets are met and costs are effectively controlled.
与餐饮运营经理密切配合,协助准备和定期更新宴会部的部门预算,以确保完成经营目标并有效控制成本。
4. Spend time at banquets (during peak periods) to ensure that they are managed well by the respective colleagues and functions to the fullest expectations.

5. Ensure that Banquet storage and Audio Visual areas are neat and organized, including the proper storage of props, and equipment.

6. Conduct daily pre-shift briefings to colleagues on preparation, service and menu.

7. Assist the Sales team with creative suggestions and ideas.

8. Liaise with the Kitchen and Beverage Department on daily operations and quality control.

9. Assist in the recruitment and selection of all Banquets colleagues. Adhere to hotel guidelines when recruiting and uses a competency-based approach to selecting colleagues.

10. Oversee the punctuality and appearance of all Banquets colleagues, making sure that they wear the correct uniform and maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene, according to the hotel and department’s grooming standards.
